Chiefs storm to 3-1 lead
Blake Gal, Alessio Bertaggia and Mitch Holmberg scored Friday night to give the Spokane Chiefs a 3-1 lead over the Tri-City Americans after one period in a WHL first-round playoff opener at the Arena. Brenden Kichton and Reid Gow both assisted on the second and third goals. Shots favor Spokane 12-9.
