Buy out the U.S.

I’ve read in your business section about former owners of businesses like Barnes & Noble, Best Buy and Dell who have made moves to buy back their companies. They’ve decided that they can run the company easier without all the decision-making complications coming from shareholders.

This gave me the idea that maybe Bill Gates and Warren Buffett could perform a buyout of the United States, and wrest control from a Congress that seems totally incapable of making business decisions that promote the general welfare.

It seems as if we have a board of directors intent on keeping us in constant turmoil, and sending us back to the days of dirt roads, dirty skies, Wild West mentality and a depressing feeling that we are incapable of dealing with it. God help us.
