… Three late-teen girls are smoking at the eastern entrance to City Park when one gets a text and begins cussing. The only word of the five- or six-word sentence that can be related here is “schizophrenic” — used as an adjective to break up a run of F-bombs. When one of the other girls learned that their friend’s boyfriend had texted, she asked: “What did he say?” She replied, “I love you, baby.” Fighting words, hunh?
