On The Waterfront …

Near the end of my lunch walk, I was handed a flyer by two skaters, sitting on a low wall in the shade of Kootenai County Courthouse trees. One of them said: “Give this a read, Dude.” So I did, wondering what the two skinny teens could be pushing. I was surprised/impressed to see that the flyer offered an idea for a Mother’s Day gift — a therapeutic massage from massage therapist Racheal Lomas (LomasMassage.com; Capelli Salon & Spa, 186 E. Neider, CdA). Who specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, thai and craniosacral massages. $50 for 1 hour; $75 for 90 minutes, said the flyer (and $10 off if you mention the flyer). The flyer, huckleberry purple on white guaranteed: “A soothing massage will rejuvenate and renew her body and mind.”

Question: Is a massage a good gift for Mother’s Day?
