Weekend Wild Card — 5.11-12.13

Mother’s Day is upon us again. And I’m grateful that my mother is still living — one month shy of her 88th birthday, in relative good health, here in Coeur d’Alene. She was married to my father for 31 years and has been a widow for 37 years. We’ll take her to church Sunday, per usual, and then enjoy a dessert with her later in the afternoon. We three siblings in Coeur d’Alene spend time a lot of time with her. The other three are coming to visit this summer.
