Gov. Butch Otter fist bumps Sam Green, the grandson of North Idaho College Lab Technician Mike McGinnis, before the ribbon cutting ceremony for the NIC Aerospace Center for Excellence Thursday. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was the result of nearly $3 million in federal grant money that NIC received in 2012. NIC opened classes this fall – less than a year since the grant was awarded.
