Crash Driver Faces Agg DUI Counts

The driver of the truck that crashed into a Coeur d’Alene home Thursday evening was arrested by CDAPD for aggravated driving under the influence and felony leaving the scene of an injury accident. Three residents inside the home were seriously injured. Thomas Scott Heinbaugh, 27, allegedly fled the scene of the Hattie Avenue accident on foot and was later located by officers in the area of Government Way and Anton Avenue. He was taken to Kootenai Health for evaluation and was treated for minor injuries. He was arrested and transported to Kootenai County Public Safety Building/ Coeur d’Alene Press . More here.
