Cutting Ribbon On Aerospace Center

About 200 people helped Gov. Butch Otter, Lt. Gov. Brad Little, North Idaho College President Joe Dunlap and others cut the ribbon on the new NIC Aerospace Center of Excellence Thursday. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was the result of nearly $3 million in federal grant money that NIC received in 2012. NIC opened classes this fall – less than a year since the grant was awarded. Pictured are, from left, NIC Trustee Ron Nilson, Little, Otter, NIC Director of Aerospace and Outreach Kassie Silvas, Dunlap, NIC Trustee Todd Banducci, Hayden Mayor Ron McIntire, former NIC President Priscilla Bell, and NIC Trustee Judy Meyer.
