Bell To Return To McEuen Field

From Kerri Thoreson’s Facebook wall: ” WWII Navy veteran Jim Shepperd readies to ring the historic Veterans Bell as he’s done for many decades. This year the bell was transported to the Ronald D. Rankin Veterans Memorial Plaza for Veterans Day ceremonies after it was removed from the Third Street docks earlier this year. It’s my understanding that the bell will be returned to McEuen Field when the park renovations are complete ( with Bob Grendell, Linda Shepperd Schmidt and James Shepperd.”
