• Along the waterfront today: another discarded piece of Amy Evans’ campaign material; a crushed Bud Light Straw-ber-Rita can; a Winco debit receipt for $2.75, including 68 cents for a Snickers (good taste); a wrapping for Vita Snacks! Chicken Formula (nutritious treats for dogs); and a empty package for Middleton’s Black & Mild Wine wood-tip cigars.
• Also: Crews for Peck & Peck continued to pack down dirt into the old basement of the house that once stood at W. Lakeshore Drive & Military/Fortgrounds area, the future site of the four-plex West Lakeshore Condominiums that many in the Fortgrounds opposes.
• Also: Very few people on the waterfront. Two bicyclists. Two pedestrians. Two young NIC lovers on a log partly out of the water.
