No guns on campuses

If a parent knew that a gun in the home is actually 22 times more likely to be involved in an accidental shooting, suicide, assault or murder than in response to an intruder (Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence), would they send their child to a university that allows instruments of death, including semi-automatic rifles, semi-automatic revolvers, hunting rifles, pistols, etc. in dorm rooms?

Some students, thankfully not all, are prone to drink too much, get angry or jealous, or are bullied. Guns, alcohol and anger do not mix well in any environment.

I would not allow my child in a school where every dorm room and every other student is potentially packing an instrument of death.
