Rethink GU punishment

Concerning the two Gonzaga students who used a gun to protect themselves and apprehend a criminal:

In the words of Toby Keith and Willie Nelson, “You have to draw a hard line.” However, what if the two students had died? That certainly would not have been good PR for the college and, now, all the beggars and burglars in the city know there are no guns in that part of town.

Perhaps, Gonzaga should rethink their punishment for two students who showed the country the proper use of a gun, instead of those who take a weapon to a mall and commit mass murder.
