3 CdA Schools React To Stabbing

Coeur d’Alene School District sent out this release re: East Sherman Avenue stabbing this afternoon:

“Students at Lakes Middle School, Fernan Elementary and Sorensen Elementary are in a Security “Shelter in Place” because of Coeur d’Alene Police Activity on E. Sherman Avenue.  We are working closely with the police department to get more details but want you to know we are keeping your child safe inside the school building until we hear more information from the police department.  We will let you know when and how it impacts end of school day activities.”
