HDW: E. Sherman Going To The Dogs

Suspect in stabbing still at large
): I live right across the street from the Budget Saver. The managers had
been doing a pretty good job of screening the folks they rent to, but I guess you can never be sure. There have been several hotels in the area that have turned to contracting out with the state and turning their places into transitional housing for people exiting prison/jail. We residents in the area were never given any opportunity or say so as to whether or not we want that kind of housing in our neighborhood, and such a concentration of them. Couple that with Fresh Start, and it’s predictable that the crime rate in our area is going to increase.
Question (from HDW): What can we do to turn that situation around?
