Jimmy: Not Acting Like Conservatives

JimmyMac079 (RE: Deanna: Why set up class warfare ): This is my SINGLE BIGGEST issue with some of the self proclaimed “true conservatives” in Kootenai County. Belittling success and having a whiny attitude about being held under some thumb. Gimme a break. Being a hugely pro capitalist Republican, I often find myself having less patience with this than I do with opposing views of the other side of the aisle. At least I know where the left is coming from in regards to having a different perspective…this entitled/defeatist attitude just makes me batcrap crazy. Note to those pounding this drum (not that they’ll listen)-most of the Young Republicans that I know feel the exact same way and are appalled.

Question: Jimmy brings up a good point. Locally, people who call themselves “conservatives” knock themselves out ripping successful individuals in Coeur d’Alene to advance their political views. What’s up with that?
