DFO: The best thing the city did at the old McEuen Field was to free 3.6-4 acres of asphalt to expand the park area and move the parking lot along Front Avenue. During a media tour on Thursday, Huckleberries was told that the new parking area covers 530 spaces — or 40 more than the old 3rd Street lot.
