Column, Drop Search, Hire Burnett
William E. (Bud) Davis, a former president of Idaho State University, is a wise man with a distinguished record of service not only at ISU but also at his other stops during a long career serving as chancellor and president at some of the nation’s major universities. These stops included chancellor of the Oregon System of Higher Education, president of the University of New Mexico and chancellor of Louisiana State University. Davis possesses what the University of Idaho needs today as it searches for a new president to replace Duane Nellis and already has in hand if the State Board of Education search committee would just open its eyes. The question is who should be the next president of UI. The answer is the interim and acting president, the former dean of the law school, Don Burnett. Here’s why/ Chris Carlson , The Carlson Chronicles. More here .
Question: Are you following the search for a new University of Idaho president?
