Mike Rader pours the first flight of cabernet sauvignon earlier today as judging began for Wine Press Northwest’s 14th annual Platinum Judging at Clover Island Inn in Kennewick, Wash. More than 600 wines from Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia are judged over three days. To qualify, a wine has to have won gold in a previous competition.
