Armed Man Robs Alpine Country Store

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking an armed man who robbed a store north of Hayden. Deputies responded to the robbery at the Alpine Country Store in the Garwood area at 5 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release. The clerk said a man brandishing a gun entered the store and stole cash from the register. The robber then fled the store on foot across Highway 95, heading southwest. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-to-late 20s, about 5-feet-9-inches and 175 pounds/SR. More here.
