Up A ‘Crick’ Without A Paddle

On his Facebook page, Joel “Bubblehead” Kennedy posts that ” 87% of Americans incorrectly pronounce “creek” (a small stream) with the “ee” sound like in “see”, and only 4% (mostly in Montana, northern Wyoming, Iowa, and eastern Pennsylvania) correctly pronounce the vowel sound the same as the “i” in “sit.” More here.
