Golden Corral Restaurant Opens

Golden Corral (opened Thursday) for business in Coeur d’Alene. The buffet and grill’s doors will open at 10:45 a.m. at 3458 N. Fruitland Lane, just off U.S. 95. The company, with headquarters in Raleigh, N.C., boasts 500 restaurants in 40 states. The new Coeur d’Alene Golden Corral will bring 125 new jobs to the community, a company press release states. The positions will include a mix of full-time and part-time employees including management, wait staff, line servers, and kitchen staff. The new restaurant is approximately 8,000 square feet in size and will seat 308 guests. It is owned by entrepreneurs Larry Leavitt, Paul Henderson, Russell Fotheringham, and Gary Henderson.
