I have to cancel my appointment with a tax consultant tomorrow as a result of an encounter with a young friend at the Coeur d’Alene Library last evening. He was surprised that I hadn’t filed my taxes yet. (I’m always late in doing so.) And wondered why I was wasting money on a consultant. He encouraged me to jump on the Idaho Tax Commission site and eFile the taxes forms for free. I thought, “Why not?” I did so last night. The directions were fairly easy. 90 minutes later I emerged with tax forms complete and filed. Now I need to call my consultant.
