Stand up to Avista

I’m sure there are many of us in Eastern Washington that are having trouble paying our Avista bill. The state lets them have a rate increase every year.

The Spokesman-Review said Avista had a 42 percent profit increase last year. That money came from us. Avista has a monopoly, and that can lead to greed and – possibly – corruption?

We all need to email the Utilities and Transportation Commission at consumer@utc.wa.org. Ask them to please take a closer look at what’s going on. Or just give them a piece of your mind.
