Cloth Diaper Record Try Set For Kroc
Part of an international cloth diaper-changing event will take place in Coeur d’Alene on Saturday. It is one of more than 324 sites in 23 countries where the event will take place. The Great Cloth Diaper Change will attempt to break the Guinness World Record of 8,301 cloth diapers changed around the world at one time. Mother’s Haven and the Salvation Army KROC Center will be the host for the North Idaho site. “Each year billions of disposable diapers enter landfills where it takes hundreds of years for them to decompose, if ever,” says Heather McNamara, Executive Director of the Real Diaper Association. “Building off the success of last year’s event with 182 qualifying locations in 15 countries, we hope to show the entire world that cloth diapers are a real option for today’s modern families”/ KREM .
