Ron: Does McHugh Have Backbone?

Ron Burgundy (RE: Finney levels another complaint ):  Things in Kootenai County might run better if there was a prosecuting attorney that would tell political crackpots politely that they have no case and thank them and usher them to the door. Does this prosecutor not have enough backbone to tell people when they are wasting everyone’s time? Or is he so afraid of a political primary that he indulges any lame accusation just because? What a waste of time!

DFO: Personally, I think all the county elected officials are running scared of the Rally Right/UCNI/Tea-publican controlling wing of the local Republican Party. They have the clout to make things miserable for them in a closed primary. And they have the strategy and follow-the-leader minions in the Central Committee to maneuver their guy into position, for example, to win a county assessor appointment. The Tea-publicans are extremely organized and sometimes can impose their will when the public isn’t interested in one of their causes (See: ULUC).
