Citizen Calls Cops On Book Giveaway

Police in Meridian, Idaho, were recently dispatched to a public park after a concerned citizen reported a high school student distributing free copies of a book recently banned by the local school board. According to KBOI , Junior Mountain View High school student Brady Kissel was distributing free copies of Sherman Alexie’s award winning novel The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian to students who had signed a petition protesting the board’s recent decision.
