Raise standards

If I wrote a letter to the editor saying the moon is made of green cheese, and the Earth is flat, and that gravity is a government trick on us all, would you publish it? I hope not.

Why did you publish a letter (July 14) saying “a few Palestinians throw stones?” And that one nationality is so nice and polite, and the other so rude and aloof. The rest of the letter was an obvious fake position.

I would think you would see through it, or were you testing us – the readers – to see if we would get the joke. The trouble with that is that, though some do, many do not.
