Search Goes On For Scotty Shawver

Responding to a question from Huckleberries Online, Lt. Stu Miller of the KCSO gave this report minutes ago re: today’s search for Post Falls businessman Scott Shawver, who’s presumed drown in Lake Coeur d’Alene: “We put our dive team in the water for about three hours to check some areas we couldn’t get the side scan sonar boat into.  We are in the process of acquiring a downward looking sonar to better cover the steep, rugged terrain in the search area. Little more time consuming, but trying to exhaust all avenues. … We will not be conducting any sonar or dive searches over the weekend. Just too congested on the lake and we’re having enough difficulty maintaining a no wake perimeter around the boat.”
