McMorris Rodgers an enabler

We often say that alcoholics are aided by a family member who doesn’t drink but does little to break the lifestyle. They go along. They are called enablers.

I see Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers as enabler to the do-nearly-nothing Congress. She stands in the background, mouths the word “liberty,” and votes over 50 times to liberate many from their health insurance. She says nothing on the critical issues of our day: funding for highways, bridges, and important agricultural bills. She may not be one of those in Congress who wants to destroy our economy, but she is lending her helping hand by allowing them to dominate by inaction.

She is considered a party leader. Where is that leadership?
