‘Officer Pete’ Marion, RIP

PFPD Facebooks: “P.F.P.D. is sorry to report that Pete Marion was found dead in his home today. Pete was a friend of P.F.P.D. – a wonderful man and very involved in our community during his time here at P.F.P.D. Pete started with P.F.P.D. in 1982 as a dispatcher and held a variety of position within the Department until he retired in 2007 and went to work for Cabela’s. Pete will be remembered by most, as a man who cared about the children in our community – the kids all called him “Officer Pete”. He spent much of his time working as the first School Resource Officer for Post Falls and was a significant contributor to the Post Falls Police Department D.A.R.E. Program.
