Wild Card/Monday — 8.11.14

I went for my first swim of the summer Sunday, in the Spokane River, following the annual baptisms of my church at the Ross Point Camp in Post Falls. The water was better than fine. I probably should have put on sun screen. But I can’t stand the oily stuff. I picked weeds in the sun Tuesday afternoon, too — sans sun screen. I can’t remember all the fuss about suntan lotion when I was a kid. Maybe an olive complexion is the equalizer. We’ll see. All in all, a wonderful weekend. Now for the first Wild Card of the work week …
