Butch Writes

At the GOPrimary gubernatorial debate this spring, Harley Brown, Walt Bayes and Gov. Otter listen to a question from the panelists. There was a “regular guy” involved, too — but I can’t recall his name. (AP File Photo)
I received a nice, personal note from Gov. Butch Otter in the mail. He addressed it to “Dear David.” I thought it was from a member of my family because my siblings are the only ones who call me “David.” I noticed, however, that it was from Butch. And he was the bearer of grave news: “Who do you think knows what’s best for Idaho — the people of Idaho, or the bureaucrats of Washington, D.C.?” the letter began. Before I could venture a guess at the answer, Butch continued: “That seems like an obvious question, and maybe it is, at least to you and me. But my Democrat opponent, actually wants to bring the far-left policies of Barack Obama, his failed administration, and the disastrous Washington bureaucracy here to Idaho. This is wrong .” You can read the full letter from the governor here . (AP File Photo: Butch Otter & Co. at GOPrimary gubernatorial debate this spring)
Question: Do you think the gubernatorial debate between Butch & A.J. will be as interesting as the GOPrimary guv debate?
