MikeK (RE: Grandpa Stallings’ big problem ): This is disappointing. I might have thought that Chuck Malloy was better than to throw out an age-smearing column, especially when, based on his ideology, it is likely that Malloy voted for Ronald Reagan to be re-elected President at (ironically) 73 years of age. Plus if Malloy thinks that a 24-year old would see a 73 year old as a “great grandfather” then he must assume that this lady’s mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother would have had to be teenage parents for several generations back. I wonder if the waitress would appreciate the implications of that comment from Malloy?
