Owl in the house

Owl

Yesterday, Don Sausser told Hucks Online, “Woke up this morning to find an owl sitting on our balcony railing.

He had flown in through an open slider without a screen. At 10th floor height there are few flying insects so we don’t require a screen to filter invaders. The bad news is, he found our canaries cage, managed to slide up an access door and kill one while slightly injuring the other.
Probably frustrated in finding a way out, he left his calling cards all over the apartment.
I’m sure we would have been as frustrated if he had decided to land on our heads in the bedroom.
Well, that’s life in the Great Northwest, even inside a 10th floor apartment!” More here.
