Ex-Coach Files Claim Versus Legion

Former assistant coach Tyler Shelton has filed a small claims action against the Post Falls American Legion, for the remainder of his salary this summer. In a document submitted to the 1st District Court, Shelton said he was fired during the season and not paid any further, despite a contract agreement with the American Legion. Shelton is seeking $1,250 from the Post Falls American Legion, plus $69 to cover his filing fee. Shelton filed his small claims action Wednesday.
