Weekend Wild Card — 8.23-24.2014

The North Idaho Fair ends its five-day run this weekend, which means that politicians will be roaming the streets in gangs soon, seeking our votes via push polls, and jamming our TV sets and dead-tree media with annoying commercials. Also, Bent and 29 fellow BBQers will be at McEuen Park today & tomorrow, trying to win the Idaho Smoke on the Water championship (food sampling for the public begins at 1 p.m. Sunday). All of which means school is around the corner and … it’s almost time for our Fantasy Football League drafts. We still have some sunshine to enjoy first, however. I’ll see you back here Monday.
