Plaza not the problem

After all these years, I read that the Spokane Transit Authority Plaza is a huge problem. I think it is time that Greater Spokane Incorporated, the Downtown Spokane Partnership, the Davenport Hotel, as well as any other business that see this as a problem, to consider getting their head out of the sand and see if they can be a part of the solution and not simply move the problem elsewhere.

Has anyone taken into account that many of the employers who consider this a big problem may have their own employees ride the bus? So let’s displace them also. The other consideration is that many people ride the bus downtown to shop as well, so should we displace them too?

It is the short-sighted that are interested in removing what they consider a problem rather than working toward a solution that does not include moving the plaza.
