Cruiser Tuesdays

I’m not sure what Cruiser Tuesdays are in downtown Coeur d’Alene. But here’s the action that was taking place at Java on Sherman last evening. There are plenty of bikes lined up along the Back to the Future coffee shop @ 8th & Sherman Avenue. This photo is from John Kelly’s BikeCDA site.

Question: Can someone explain what a bike Cruiser is? Where does the cruise go? Does a cruiser occur every Tuesday evening?
