Poll: Nelson’s Jail Lease Suit Backed

• Wednesday Poll: Hucks Nation supports Commissioner Jai Nelson’s efforts to stop judicial confirmation of a proposed county lease with a private company for jail space. A judicial confirmation hearing is set Friday. 71 of 136 respondents (52.21%) support Nelson’s lawsuit to stop the process. 54 of 136 respondents (39.71%) oppose Nelson’s legal action. 11 (8.09%) are undecided.
