Letter: Applause For Tony Stewart

Some of the letters to the editor lately have been less than kind toward Tony. I wish to make it clear that he does not stand alone. The Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations stands in full support of his efforts, and continues to work with him to ensure all people are treated with dignity. Tony has always insisted we follow the example of the great civil rights leaders therefore we do not stand on the street and shout back at people who are shouting at us. Instead Tony is the first person to stand up for another person’s freedom of speech and will not attempt to censor anyone/ Christie Wood , president, Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations.
