Top Comment — YouHaveToBeKidding (RE: Old Hot Rod Cafe going Timber Gastro Pub ): Many have a very skewed view of Post Falls. Most of the comments make it sound like we all are toothless and live in tar paper shacks - also that if we live in Post Falls we certainly will never visit this establishment because we can’t afford it. Funny - because the per capita income of Post Falls is 22597 and Coeur d’ Alene is 23151. Median for PF is 49452 and Coeur d’ Alene is 41064. Median home prices in pf are 209,000 and Coeur d Alene 265,000. I don’t think we’re doing that bad. We make more and our home prices are less - we also have some really nice new and established neighborhoods - we have an accessible local government that isn’t an embarrassment (CDA and Spokane!).
