CPD Arrests 3 In Car Burglaries
Coeur d’Alene Police officers and detectives
investigated several auto burglaries that occurred early this morning. Patrol
officers were
notified at approximately 2 a.m. by Hawk Owl Street resident in the Landings
subdivision who saw male suspects entering parked cars. The citizen attempted
to contact the males,
and they fled on foot. Officers observed a purple Camaro with front end
damage parked in the area. Neighbors did not recognize the car as belonging to
anyone in the neighborhood. Later this morning at approximately 7
o’clock,
another Landings resident saw the same Camaro parked at the Silver Lake
Mall. Officers were able to make contact with a male juvenile who owned the
car. The 17 year-old juvenile admitted to his role in the auto burglaries and
identified two other males involved.
