PFPD Blues Went Above & Beyond

Post Falls Police Chief Scott Haug received this note from an appreciative resident: Just a quick note to acknowledge my appreciation for Officer Williams and Sargent James. Last Monday afternoon, on the Seltice off ramp, a dog ran out in front of my car and I hit it. When Officer Williams arrived, she explained that the dog had been running loose and that it wasn’t my fault. She was very empathetic towards me and the women who was “dog sitting”. I told Officer Williams that my Fog Light was hanging on the ground from the accident and that I would appreciate it if she would call someone to help me. I’m expecting a tow truck. However, Sargent James showed up and the two of them fixed my light, even though it was dark, cars speeding by and on the gravel shoulder of the off ramp. All the time, they were both very positive and supportive. Chief, you are very blest to have officers like this on your force.

Question: Have you ever been served by a police officer who went above & beyond the call of duty?
