Poll: Idaho Can’t Afford Fed Lands
- Tuesday Poll: Overwhelmingly, Hucks Nation said that Idaho can’t afford to manage federal lands, which are subject to expensive wildfires. 143 of 182 respondents (78.57%) said the state can’t afford a price tag of up to $111M annually (according to a University of Idaho report) to manage federal lands. Only 31 of 182 respondents (17.03%) said the state could afford to manage federal lands, if it had a chance to do so. 8 (4.4%) were undecided.
