A Message From Mayor Widmyer

On Facebook, from Coeur d’alene Mayor Steve Widmyer: “This Saturday our community will have a friendly competition with our neighbors across the border , Spokane. Some Kootenai County Mayors, including myself, will be ringing the bell for the Salvation Army in the 4th Annual Mayors Day Red Kettle Challenge. Last year we raised over $24,000 on this day. We will be ringing outside the Fred Meyer in Coeur d Alene. I will be there from 10am-Noon. The competition goes until 7pm t hat evening so you can come by anytime before 7pm with your donation and it will be counted. Please stop by on Saturday and do what you can to help a great cause. All your donations stay in Kootenai County to help neighbors in need throughout the year.”
