Editorialize on protests

I was going to chide your editing out any mention of peaceful protests sweeping our nation until Dec. 9 when I heard someone defending water-boarding and labeling The Spokesman-Review a “liberal” newspaper. I’m still left puzzled, however, at the editorial decision to keep silent on the mostly peaceful, national outcry against lethal force. May we expect an editorial soon?
