WSU to play in 2015 Diamondhead Classic
ESPN Events released the field for the 2015 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic.
Washington State, along with Auburn, BYU, New Mexico, Northern Iowa, Oklahoma will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii to compete in the tournament, which is hosted by Hawaii and runs from Dec. 22-25 at the San Sheriff Center.

It should be an interesting field. Harvard and No. 15 Oklahoma are respected programs and Auburn is expected to rise under the leadership of new coach Bruce Pearl. BYU and New Mexico played in the NCAA tournament last season and should be competitive again next year.
The Cougars have played in the tournament once before, falling to Butler in the championship game in 2010. The Cougars beat Mississippi State in the first round of the Diamond Head Classic that season, then upset No. 15 Baylor in the second round.
Each team will play once per day with a day off on the 24
th
