Grand Hotel a lifeless form

Connor Dinnison’s Dec. 20 letter regarding the new Grand Hotel Spokane across from the Civic Center is on target. It’s just a box, a lifeless shape, that downtown Spokane doesn’t deserve.

I will continue to stay at the Worthy-er hotel, The Davenport, which could compete successfully in any city in the world.
