Clicking tires irritating

As I go about my life and hear the “click, click, click” of studded tires on clear and mostly dry streets, I hope those who dutifully put on their studded tires on Nov. 1, just because it was legal to do so, are feeling shame for the two months of constant damage being done to the city streets with no benefit to the driver.

We have had no snow or ice of any kind for two months, and so not even marginal need for studs. Try something else, please.
