1,000,000th Corvette To Be Restored

David Bolognino, director of the Design Center Fabrication Operations for General Motors poses for photos next to the 1,000,000th Chevrolet Corvette, a 1992 convertible model, at Stage 3 Studio in Warren, Mich., earlier today. The car was one of eight classic and historic Corvettes extracted from the sinkhole in the floor of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., in February. The car will undergo restoration by General Motors’ Design Center Fabrication Operations in January and will take at least six months to complete. Story here. (AP Photo/Carlos Osorio)
